Designed for STEM professionals and science communicators, our speakers will share expert guidance, practical tips, and hands-on activities to boost your visibility, whether you’re promoting your own work or managing an organisation’s page.
With a combined four years of professional LinkedIn experience, Sophia and Petra will lead breakout groups tailored to your focus and experience level. You’ll leave with a polished profile, a ready-to-post update about the upcoming Little Event, and a clear plan to grow your LinkedIn presence.

Your Trainers

Petra Gudelj is the Digital and Social Media Coordinator at the Faraday Institution, the UK’s independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research. With a background in science communication and digital strategy, Petra manages the organisation’s online presence and supports researchers in showcasing their work effectively. With two years of professional experience using LinkedIn to engage diverse STEM audiences and promote organisational impact, Petra is passionate about empowering individuals and teams to use digital platforms strategically and creatively.

Sophia Constantinou is a freelance Science Communicator and TV Researcher. She held the position of Digital and Social Media Coordinator at the Faraday Institution for over two years, communicating about batteries and energy storage to a varied audience on LinkedIn and providing training to researchers to help them showcase their work. For the past three years, Sophia has organised LinkedIn workshops at the BIG Event (working with Petra on this for the last two years!). She continues to hone her LinkedIn skills alongside her role as a Researcher on science documentaries, through freelance work and posting on her personal LinkedIn.
