Live Science Team Member (Ref: LST_1019)
Hours: Working 3/4 days in 7 (working an average of 3 weekends out of 4) with the potential of working additional days up to 5 days per week.
Salary: Hourly rate of £8.60 per hour - rising to £9.05 on completion of probation. Opportunities to increase to £9.50 following evidence of progression through skills milestones
Contract: Permanent
In this role you will be enhancing the We The Curious visitor experience by engaging visitors in conversation, facilitating our exhibitions, delivering science shows, interactive activities, special events and community activities in our building and beyond. This means encouraging visitors to explore what interests them, empowering them to ask questions and explore the world. You will do this by providing amazing experiences and facilitating conversations in our programme spaces such as the Live lab, Kitchen, Studio theatre, Tinkering Space, Planetarium and open spaces, including story-telling, demonstrations and shows.
