Planetarium Astronomer, Royal Museums Greenwich

£28,242 Per Annum, Permanent, Full Time

 

The Astronomy Engagement department is based at the Royal Observatory Greenwich as part of Royal Museums Greenwich and undertakes a wide range of astronomy-focused science communication and engagement programmes and activities for Public and Education audiences: workshops, planetarium shows, community activities, lectures, live demonstrations, cross-site STEM programmes and more.

 

The Planetarium Astronomer role primarily works on the development of digital outputs for a wide range of audiences, specialising in planetarium content, as well as contributing to more complex event and outputs (including cross-departmental and cross-site work at Royal Museums Greenwich).
