Typical Day of an Education Communicator-As this isn’t a typical office job, or a typical job at all, every day you work for LBD is going to be different, exciting and challenging. We work in schools across the Country. On a typical day, you can expect to meet at our central vehicle depot, (based in West Hallam, Derbyshire), at an agreed time to meet the team leader for the day. The team travel together to the school in order to set up before the school day begins. Our day then follows the school’s timetable. Once the workshops have been delivered the team returns to the vehicle depot together, or travels on to the next location. This is a fantastic opportunity to travel the country and explore areas you may not have seen before!
During quieter periods of delivery, such as school holidays, you will be expected to work out of our central office in Tamworth, where you will support the LBD team in creating new workshop content, maintaining equipment and helping with all other work tasks as identified by your line manager. What do we Deliver?-LBD delivers a selection of quality workshops varying from corporate sponsored days to our own bespoke workshops, to a wide range of age groups.
