Project Support Coordinator: Young Stem Leader Programme (YSLP)
Dunfermline – salary £23,043 (review pending)
Fixed term contract of 24 months, 35 hours per week with possibility of extension
The postholder will be based in our SSERC headquarters in Dunfermline. As a result of the current pandemic the successful applicant may undertake a significant amount of work from home. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
About the role
The post holder will support all key aspects of programme development, delivery and quality assurance with the appropriate level of support from the Project Manager and Project Officer.

SSERC is a local authority shared service, providing support across all thirty-two Scottish Education Authorities. Our services are available to elected members and officers of Local Authorities, teachers, student teachers and technicians.

The Young STEM Leader Programme (YSLP) is derived from the Scottish Government’s Strategy for STEM Education and Training (2017), specifically that there will be the establishment of a new Young STEM Leaders programme to stimulate and strengthen the development of peer mentoring and inspiration in STEM for children and young people by children and young people. YSLP is offered across CfE Second, Third and Fourth Levels and SCQF Levels 4, 5 and 6.
