This post is key to the delivery and coordination of the My World of Work Live! (MyWoW Live!) Digital Studio and Immersive Careers space within the SDS Inverness hub.

The project sits within the Regional Operations team and the post holder will be responsible for the creation of a dynamic, safe and welcoming environment. This involves the co-ordination of delivery of the Digital Studio, Immersive Careers space and a programme of events for young people, schools and teachers, parents, employers and partners. 

In addition, you’ll work with the local operations teams to develop and plan a programme of events aimed at re-energising sectoral career information in the Highlands & Islands. 

You’ll collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and My World of Work Live! National team to ensure project delivery.

There may be an occasional need to work outside of normal working hours in order to maximise our offering. 

This is a full-time, fixed term position until 31 March 2019 based in Inverness.

About You

You’ll have experience of working in a marketing or events management role.  You’ll be an advanced user of social and digital media and will understand how best to market event space to maximise usage. 

The role will require you to be experienced in facilities management, demonstrating an understanding of health and safety and undertaking risk assessments. A confident communicator, you’ll possess excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience.
