Smithsonian Fellowships

Are you aware of the fellowships provided annually by the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Museum Studies? Open worldwide to museum professionals working directly with the public.

"Each year the program supports up to four fellows who spend time at the Smithsonian examining a specific aspect of their work and reflecting on the concepts that inform it. Through exposure to Smithsonian resources and collections, fellows can gain new perspectives and establish new networks that will serve professional needs for years to come."

Info online is at www.si.edu/cms/fmpcov.htm and the e-mail address is fmp@cms.si.edu. Proposals are due by February 15,2000.

Good luck!
