Clipped art in the park
This is a permanent outdoor exhibit. It arose, and was developed, through the workshops "Exploring with Drawing". It can be experienced at Camps Road Recreation Ground in Haverhill, Suffolk. The imagery is realised through a course grain process which, like the famous Lincoln portrait, makes very little sense close-up. At a distance however the four images become crystal clear and, at the right angle, give rise top strong 'hovering' effects. Because each piece of information is wrapped around a pipe it creates double-sided and double-ended images. For information on drop-in, hands-on workshops which Explore through Drawing see the BIG Directory.
