Design in Education Week Exhibition 2000

Wed 29th March to Thursday 7th April at The Making Place, London:

"Design Process - an exhibition of professional designs from conception
to completion"

An exhibition to answer the questions "what's a designer?", "How do I design?" and "Why do I draw it first?".

Visitors handle products from professional designers and see the sketches and thinking behind their ideas. Worksheets direct pupils to relevant parts of the exhibition. Children then design and make their own products linked to the QCA project tasks.

1999 participants included Hasbro, K'Nex, Jaguar and Psion.
