Presenter (Midlands-based) - science made simple

science made simple is very keen to expand our merry team by employing the services of a Midlands-based presenter. We currently do a lot of delivery in the Midlands and consequently are doing a lot of driving from either Cardiff or Manchester which doesn't make for a very cost-effective model (or a good price for the customer!)

We would ideally like to find a full-time employee, but our main criteria is finding the best presenting talent the Midlands has to offer, so we are open to applications from interested parties who would like to:

a) work for us full-time (but from a base in the Midlands) (Salary £15,500-17,500 depending on qualifications and experience)
b) work freelance as a presenter paid on a 'per show' basis but prepared to give up 50-75% of their time to present for us (per show rate to be negotiated)

If you are interested in being considered please send me:

1. A CV
2. A link to some video footage of you presenting some science, or a DVD of you in action (can be from a real event, a rehearsal, or presenting to camera if you don't have any 'real' footage already)
3. A lovely letter explaining why you would be the perfect person to be our SMS Midlands presenter

Thanks everyone, please spread the word to all the nice, talented people you might know via twitter, facebook, carrier pigeon, the usual ways...
